I have an old wall gas oven I need removed and gas turned off as I am putting in a new electric oven. I live up 2 flights of stairs and need the oven taken away.

Belling gas oven around 10 years old with electric grill (model number in comments). Oven works just fine, you turn the dial to the left and light inside oven illuminated and flame starts. However, turn the dial to the right towards the grill setting and nothing happens, no light, no heat in grill element. I have replaced the grill with a brand new part, and my electrician said that there is no electricity getting to the grill element when he gave it a quick check while completing another job. My assumption is that there’s is something wrong with the internal switch/wiring behind the knob.

Hello Airtaskers! We live in a 90s apartment building in north Melbourne with the original oven installed. The brand is called ‘Blanco’ The oven has stopped responding to inputs (the timer light just flashes on and off) We suspect that there is some kind of electrical or circuitry fault, but that’s all we know. We are installing a small IKEA kitchen island (two base cabinets, drawers and countertop). Task 1 Looking to add 2 power points to the IKEA kitchen island. One interior and one exterior. In roughly the same area. - One on the interior is for a microwave that will be the top shelf of the right cabinet and want a two port power point inside. - Second powerpoint on the exterior right side of the island, roughly in the same area as the interior one. - We understand that would require a hole in our floor beneath the island which is fine. There is under floor access via a manhole inside our house and we've had several tradesmen access that space already to fix plumbing issues or install split system cabling. - Would want to hide as much wiring as possible behind the back panel. - Plus certificates Task 2 We have also upgraded to a newer IKEA oven and IKEA induction hob and we would like the old ones swapped out for the new ones. - Plus certificates Task 3 Cut the countertop to a straight edge to fit our custom length and finish with IKEA's included laminate edging. - Due date: Flexible
