Seeking cabinetmaker to remove a cabinet shelf as the current oven cavity is only 575mm tall and will not fit the oven I want to install. The previous oven sits on this shelf and there is a drawer underneath. As the oven is 590mm tall and some extra space is needed for clearance to the cooktop, I would like this shelf removed to allow the oven to be installed at the bottom of the cabinet, and also install a panel to cover the remaining space. Shelf appears to be permanently attached and I can't see any mounting hardware. Note that a gas line for the gas cooktop runs through and along the rear of the cabinet. Alternatively if there is a way to lower the shelf and retain the drawer I am open to that too. Measurements: Oven cavity height 575mm Oven cavity width 570mm Drawer cavity height 103mm Shelf is 16mm thick Tasker to supply tools and materials.
