Cooktop induction installation - wiring is set, the cooktop needs to be connected and dropped into slot. Should be 20 minutes at the most.

I have a glass cooktop chipped need to replace and install the new one

A couple of knobs at this gas cook top do not work properly: When you press knob and light up, the knob will not hold as before. They pop back and gas is stopped. I wonder whether somebody can repair or have some suggestion such as replacing with another ? Address is a unit at North Melbourne. Regards, Henry
