Tisira brand gas stove top- 2 out of 4 burners not working. Additionally, rangehood not sucking up the air properly. Rangehood was replaced 4 years ago.

I have a smeg gas stovetop with four burners. 3 of the burners work just fine, however the largest burner will not operate on low. Turn it to simmer and the flame goes out. It does work but needs a service.

The gas inlet for the new cooktop is on the left whereas the current one is on the right. The gas copper line comes from the left so assuming it just needs to be shortened?
