I already have the new door, door handle/hardware and dog door, so this is primarily an installation/labour job. Work required includes fitting and hanging the external door correctly, installing the door hardware and handle, and cutting and fitting the dog door into the new door. I’m looking for a carpenter experienced with external door installations who can ensure the door is properly fitted, aligned, secure and finished to a professional standard. Hi, we’re looking for someone to replace our existing external door with a new plain door and fit a large doggy door. We’ll supply the new door and doggy door from Bunnings. The job would be: * Remove the existing door. * Trim the new door to the correct height * Transfer the existing hinges, lock and handles onto the new door * Cut and install the large doggy door * Hang and adjust the new door so everything works properly * Seal the exposed/cut edges so it’s ready for us to paint The new door is 2040 x 820 x 35mm, and the existing door is 2007 x 820 x 35mm, so it’ll need around 33mm trimmed from the height. We’re supplying all the materials — just need someone who’s comfortable with hanging doors, transferring door hardware and fitting a large dog door. Ideally looking for someone who’s done this sort of thing before and is comfortable hanging doors and fitting doggy doors.
