It firat stopped mid height going down. One side had dropped about 10-15cm, causing the door to sit crooked and the rollers to shift out of the side tracks. I managed to roll it up. The lifting cable on the lower side has completely unspooled and slipped off the drum. The middle drive rail connected to the motor appears slightly bent/bowed from the pressure. Motor: Merlin MT600.

We have a door problem that needs a bespoke solution. Currently a bifold laundry door but it’s not working. We want a sliding door instead. Constraints: It can’t swing inwards with a regular door because the washing machine blocks the way. Don’t want a barnyard door and the frames will get in the way. The internal sliding door won’t fully recess and slide all the way open. But it just needs to be open enough for us to get in - 600mm width on wall to side. It’s also a toilet and laundry so we’d prefer lockable and solid door for noise protection. Approx 710cm wide x 2330cm tall

I need a handyman to install hardware across 8 timber casement/awning windows. The hardware itself is functional but has pulled loose in several spots. Fix Loose Stays & Pins: Re-secure loose/detached 300mm stay arms and sill pegs (plug/dowel stripped screw holes into timber where needed). Fix Loose Hinges: Repair stripped screw holes on loose window hinges and re-secure tightly into the frame. There are only about 3 of these. Most just require the casement stay installation. Second image provided shows an example of Service & Lubricate: Lubricate stiff/squeaky stays and fasteners, ensuring all this10 windows open smoothly and latch shut securely. It's worth noting that my house build is concrete, but it doesn't appear it would require to be drilled into at any of the casements I've got the Casement stays, as well as WD-40 for the window lubrication. thanks!

The handle of the kitchen door has completely dislodged from the sliding door , I need it to be replaced with a new one or just reinstalled I’m not sure.

I have 4 IKEA Billy bookcases (3 regular, 1 narrow) that are built but need anchoring to the dry wall with appropriate screws. I have the screws and brackets but not dry wall specific anchors (no studs) and no live wire detector so would be needing these supplied by the Tasker. Also there are 3 doors that need to be attached as per the IKEA instructions that I figured I may as well request with the job. BYO tools please and ideally looking for someone with experience.

I'm looking for someone to inspect and adjust my front entry door. The door appears to be uneven/misaligned and is allowing air and draughts to come through. I have tried installing weather stripping to reduce the gap, however this has made the door difficult to open, close, and lock properly. I'm looking for someone who can assess the issue, realign or adjust the door if required, and ensure it seals as correctly as it can while still opening, closing, and locking smoothly.
