Last weekend I posted a task to replace an old cat door. The air tasker I assigned the job to has made a complete mess of it (see photo) and I need someone who can make it good please. The first guy cut the plastic outside insert too short, so there is exposed wood - I've bought a new cat door assembly and now need someone to sort it please! Also the inside part of the assembly is not on straight and will need to be removed and straightened. And I suspect the hole may have been made too large, but won't be sure until someone takes it off. It has been suggested that I buy a bigger cat door, but the size has to be right for the cat, not the hole! There may need to be some packing put around, to set the door securely. I've added some photos. I notice the original Tasker is putting up selected snippets of conversations - very selected snippets!

Standard interior door. I need the hinges placed so the door opens outwards and a new hole for the striker cut and the hinge plate cutout and old striker filled in. I will paint so no need to quote on that. Located Southland area with pretty flexible availability

Back door not aligned properly and one side need to be lifted so that the latch closes

Hi, tradesman cracked this window and opened up the wall during an inspection. The frame was found leaking so also needs to be caulked. Wall also needs plastering and insulation back in. - Due date: Flexible

Hi Airtaskers, I need someone to come out to my office in Cheltenham and put on some new door hinges as the current hinges have been damaged by strong wind slamming the door closed. The door can’t be closed properly at the moment so this is quite urgent. - Due date: Needs to be done on Friday, 19 January 2024

2 cavity sliding door are damaged and come off the rails. Currently 1 is complete stuck the other you have to lift to open and close. Looking for a fix if possible rather than replace door. The front door is quite hard to get open and needs shaved down a bit, also the door to the hallway cupboard also gets caught and needs shaven down. You’ll need to co-ordinate a date and time that suits with my tenant who are currently living there. - Due date: Flexible

This is to fix an installation issue that was originally assembled by IKEA and they told me to organize a third party to fix the issue. There is a gap between two panels of the right sliding door. While there is no or little gap at the bottom of the door, there is a significant one at the top. More, importantly, both the left and right sliding doors move together, preventing individual movement of the left or right door. That means I cannot only close the left or right panel of the wardrobe. - Due date: Before Monday, 11 December 2023

Accidentally let my task for this expire. Very keen to get this done soon. Metal door frame with what appears to be the remnants of an old striker plate installed on top of the frame. I moved in a while back and drilled New holes and put a striker plate on, but the tolerances are too tight and the deadbolt for the digital lock I put in won't meet up perfectly. Task is to cut out a spot in the door and align and install a striker plate which is a match for the deadbolt. If you have anything you want purchased l can or will reimburse you.
