Well my trucks electrical I’m sure is the issue. First he said it was the start then battery terminals. He had no answer why when it had no power to anything. I had cleaned terminals when issue happened. I did everything I know to do. Wasn’t professional looking pull up in a dirty old truck that sounds like it barely ran. For a 2008 Saturn Astra (Opel Astra H) - Mechanic was hired earlier to try to diagnose and replace battery, alternator, and starter since car would not start/run - New battery, alternator, and starter are in place- car still does not run. - Mechanic referred further service to an auto electrician: - Issues to check: i. Ignition System (might need to be replaced) ii. Daylight Sensor does not turn instrument panel/dash lights on at night iii. Not an imminent issue but needs to be fixed: My local mechanic had installed a hard wire to the battery for a mounted dashcam, but the cable is causing a major draw on the battery (better to just disconnect this) iv. Fuse box was replaced in 2022 and likely not the issue; could be rusted/faulty wiring... so you may need to track down where the issue is. v. Final verdict: If the electric issues are too complex and going to be too costly, that is also something I need to know. If it's too excessive, it may not be worth fixing given the vehicle's low value (however it is in great condition otherwise with 81,000 miles only).

Just installed new fuel pump on my 2006 Nissan Maxima because it was slowing down on first gear and having trouble taking off until getting into second and it was fine. It ran okay for a while and then it started doing the same thing a little stall and the tire lights appeared, the car also shut off, but came right back on with the tire lights as well. Ran a mechanical check and everything was running at 100% so I am thinking it is mechanical and a problem with a sensor. Would love to know how much it would be to get it checked out.
