Our washing machine’s water inlet hose recently started spurting water, so we cut off the water supply and investigated. It appears that the hose has worn down over the years, with the internal section becoming warped. The water pressure then pushed against the distorted inside of the inlet hose and pushed part of the washer out, causing it to leak when the water is turned back on to the washing machine. We initially tried replacing the washer, but it seems the pipe itself needs to be replaced first. We already have the replacement pipe (the correct one from the original supplier) and simply need someone to install it. The main difficulty is that the washing machine is very heavy and needs to be pulled out from where it is to access one end of the pipe. Unfortunately, despite there being two of us, we’re unable to move it ourselves! Someone comfortable with heavy lifting and moving fitted appliances from their spaces would be essential. Once the washing machine is moved, replacing the pipe should be relatively straightforward. We believe we have bought the correct length, as the washing machine is right next to the sink and pipes, but there’s a possibility that this may not be the case once the machine is pulled out and we can properly access everything. For someone in the know, this should take no more than 1 hour. This task will need to be done on Monday 24th August anytime between 9:30am and 6pm, near East Dulwich Station. There is no parking at the flat, but there is some street parking and a large Sainbury's car park across the street.

Hi, I need someone to help with a drainage problem. My washing machine isn’t draining properly and when it does drain, the dirty water backs up into the kitchen sink. There’s also stagnant water left sitting in the washing machine drum and it smells bad. I think the shared waste pipe between the sink and washing machine is blocked or draining very slowly. Washing machine clean and service

Just moved in and new washing machine couldn’t be installed upon delivery as the previous owners took the bit of pipe which connects the washing machine to the waste water pipe (see images). First image shows the current waste water pipe, and second image is what the delivery driver showed me that I need in order to connect and install the washing machine. We need someone to provide the correct piece of connecting pipe and to install the machine.
