Hot water from the Ecodan works for water (shower, taps) but for some reason, no heating coming out of the underfloor heating. The pump flow looks like it is working. Room thermostats are working. But- pipes not hot, control system seems stuck on standby for calling heat from the boiler. Could be a need to replace or rewire the motorised valve actuator. Maybe be something to do with the boiler. Maybe something simpler and I’m being slow. Need a heat-pump heating engineer or plumber-electrician. Suggested price for call-out, first 1.5 hrs, diagnostic and simple fixes. Let me know if you can bring spares, and what additional costs may be. We will reconcile after.

Issue with central heating not turning on

The thermostat not working, screen all black. There's no batteries in it to be replaced. No problem with hot water.

my bathroom towel rack radiator has stopped heating. I’m pretty sure it’s the electric heating element that’s failed. I’ve already bought the replacement element and just need an experienced person to swap it over and get the rail working again. What’s on site • Ladder-style chrome towel rail (see photos) • Existing element at the bottom left of the rail (“TYPE 2597”, 230V) • Wired to a nearby fused spur (also in photos) • No leaks; rail is securely mounted Tasks to be done 1. Isolate power at the fused spur/consumer unit 2. Drain enough fluid from the rail, remove the old element, and fit the new one (PTFE tape/paste as needed). 3. Top up with suitable radiator fluid/inhibitor if required, bleed, and check for leaks. 4. Test the element and confirm it heats properly from the fused spur. 5. Tidy up and dispose of any waste.

Dishwasher isnt heating up.

My central heating seems to come on when my hot water comes on, I think it might be the actuator valve but would like to be sure

Top heating element is stuck and wont unscrew i have tried but not moving, the tank has been drained down as far as the top element, only contact if you are 100%, you can remove, boiler is a pulsa coil model, drain valve also broke at the bottom, new elements are on site, if you can replace both that would be great
