Looking for a plumber or experienced handyman to inspect and repair a thermostatic shower mixer where the temperature control handle is stuck and difficult/impossible to turn. The shower is still installed and operational, but the thermostat control appears seized. It may require freeing off the mechanism, replacing the thermostatic cartridge, or carrying out another suitable repair. Requirements: • Experience with thermostatic shower valves • Own tools • Ability to diagnose and repair during the visit where possible • Please advise if any parts are likely to be required Preferred Date: ASAP

Water pressure is fine on boiler and other shower in house has hot water.

I have 5 underfloor heating thermostat which are wired , need them swaped to wireless . I have wireless units . All wires going in same places as I understand plus a jumper wire. Everything is working just need receiver unit swapped.

We have a thermostatic shower that is constantly dripping - someone came to look at it needs to be completely replaced because the parts aren’t made anymore - he suggested we change it to a bar shower but this will need installing and potentially tiles removed and put back. Ideally someone who can also do tiling

Hetta Thermostat Help My thermostat is making a loud humming noise (sounds like a generator) and unless I switch off all the power, it doesn't stop. I have looked it up online, but am no expert and don't want to mess with the internal connections/ wiring. I contacted Hetta and this was their response: By the sounds of it you have a faulty thermostat as the thermostat should not be humming. this would point toward a possible electrical fault and would suggest not turning it on until you have an electrician look at it. I would suggest having an electrician inspect the thermostat to give a diagnosis to the humming and why the thermostat isn’t showing the room temperature.

My Hive thermostat is connected to the receiver however it doesn’t send the signal to for the heat to work. Boiler is working there is hot water, just no heat. I need someone who can diagnose the issue/repair if needed which may be the zone valve/actuator rather then the HiVE thermostat.

My shower keeps switching between scalding hot and freezing cold… done a bit of research online, looks like it’s an issue with the Thermostatic Cartridge. Need to remove the cartridge and assess the situation, it might just need a descale. Just not really sure how. I’m guessing it’s not a huge job. If time and skills permit I’d also like to hand a couple of hooks on the wall, just not confident with a drill. Thanks.
