Install a 40A BG MCB in the consumer unit. Run MT2 trunking along half the length of the run. Drill through the stud wall into the kitchen. Route 7 metres of 6mm Twin & Earth cable under the kitchen plinth to the new hob. Install a 45A isolator switch inside a low-level cupboard. The cooker seems to be faulty. When i was cooking yesterday the fuse switch went down. Today I noticed the big cooker is stuck on the highest heat irrespective on whether you put it on the lowest setting. The cooker switch now will not allow me to turn it off.
