A small section of a wall has a smoke stain from a large flame candle. I have recently moved out so require it to be cleaned / painted over to ensure I get my deposit back. To be completed this Saturday

Have a 1 bedroom furnished flat on 4th floor, next to Russell Square station. 4th floor, no lift, just stairs. I’d like floor staining or painting to be done if possible to match bedroom shown below. Staining not supplied. The floor is pine wood and has tiles. Design is Victorian. The colour I want is the flooring of the bedroom, shown in the pics.

I need a small ceiling repair completed at an office. There is currently an open access hole in the plasterboard ceiling, as shown in the attached photo. Ceiling opening is approximately 450 mm × 450 mm. I would like: * A metal access hatch/panel supplied and installed over the existing opening. * The hatch must be hinged/openable and closable, with a simple secure latch. * Ideally a neat, flush-fitting white metal access panel suitable for a commercial office ceiling. * Any minor making-good around the opening required for the hatch installation. * The existing water staining/discolouration around the opening and surrounding ceiling to be prepared and repainted. * Stained areas should ideally be treated with a stain-blocking primer first so the marks do not come back through the new paint. * Ceiling paint to be matched as closely as reasonably possible to the existing white finish. * All materials, labour and clean-up included. The source of the previous water staining is being dealt with separately - this task is for the access hatch installation and cosmetic ceiling repair/painting only. Please provide your best fixed price including materials. I am looking for a cost-effective solution rather than anything bespoke or decorative. If possible, please also state: 1. I’m looking for someone experienced with vinyl/contact paper wrapping to wrap all 4 cabinets shown in the photos in a stainless steel look. I attempted to wrap one of the cabinets myself, as shown in the photos, but I’m not happy with the result. The contact paper I have already applied will need to be removed and redone. I’m looking for a clean and professional finish, particularly around the edges, corners and doors, with no bubbles or obvious seams.

Looking for someone experienced with quartz worktops to remove a stain from the surface.

Hi, I have a long, vertical water stain on my bedroom wall caused by a previous, historic leak from months ago (the leak has been fully resolved and the wall is completely dry now). There is NO mould, but there is some water staining/discolouration and slight paint peeling near the window frame. The job requires: 1: Properly scraping and sanding down all the peeling/flaking paint to ensure a perfectly smooth surface before priming. 2: Applying a stain block primer (e.g., Zinsser B-I-N or similar) to ensure the stain doesn't bleed through. 3: Repainting it with white emulsion paint. Please note that the final paint colour must be an exact match to the original wall colour (no patchy or mismatched whites). 4: The bedroom is fully carpeted, so you must bring proper dust sheets/protection and ensure no paint or debris stains the carpet. There was a leak from my kitchen to the bathroom of flat below, which caused staining on the celling and walls. I understand we need to stain block the celing 2x coats. Little sand and fill then paint with bathroom paint. Please let me know if you are able to do this and when you can visit. Thanks

Sand and clean up a small section of original floorboards ready to be stained. A few boards could do with being nailed down but mostly solid. Ideally you’d have a big sander/edger to make light work of the job

I am having stainless steel worktops installed but the company manufacturing them does not 'front seal with silicone ' I need someone to come and seal the stainless steel worktops to the walls and around the hobs and tap. (The sink is welded in so no need for silicone there)
