EVENT ASSISTANT / BAR SUPPORT — IDEAS ON ICE We’re looking for a friendly, proactive and reliable person to help with our upcoming talk series Ideas on Ice. This is a casual event support role ideal for someone with hospitality, events or arts experience. Date: June 10th, 2026 Location: The Arc Collective, N1 7DF Hours: 4 PM to 10 PM Rate: £15 / hour Responsibilities Helping set up the venue before guests arrive Carrying boxes, drinks and event materials Assisting with general event logistics and organisation Serving beer, wine and Aperol spritz behind the bar during the event Assisting with pack-down after the event We’re looking for someone who is: Friendly and approachable Comfortable speaking to guests Physically able to lift and move boxes/crates Reliable and punctual Calm in fast-paced environments Ideally has basic bar or hospitality experience The atmosphere is creative, relaxed and community-oriented.

We are throwing my mum a 50th birthday party at our house and would like an experienced mixologist/ bartender to be in our kitchen bar making cocktails and any drinks that guests request. If you have any particular presentation skills to impress guests even better! We will provide everything you need including the drinks but if you want to bring your own equipment feel free. My partner is hosting a contemporary music performance from 7pm–9pm. I’m worried numbers will be low and it will upset her so I’m looking for a few people who’d be happy to attend to fill out the numbers and help create a good audience atmosphere for the event. Help Needed at Everything Electric West (Cheltenham) We’re FLIT – a Cambridge-based company designing lightweight folding electric bikes, and we’re looking for someone friendly, confident, and reliable to help us at Everything Electric West on the 12th and 13th of June. The role will involve: - Assisting on our exhibition stand - Talking to visitors about the FLIT M2 - Helping manage test rides - General support throughout the event You do not need to be a cycling expert, but an interest in bikes, technology and design would definitely help. We’re mainly looking for someone approachable, proactive, and comfortable speaking with people. Event experience is a bonus but not essential. We will have a garden / pool party event with 80 people and are looking for someone to run the bbq. We will provide all groceries etc
