We’re hosting a relaxed garden party for around 35 guests on Sunday 30 August, starting at 2.30pm, and we’re looking for someone experienced to help us so we can enjoy the afternoon with our guests. The role will include: - Assisting with final setup before guests arrive - Serving as a friendly host throughout the event - Refilling drinks and keeping the drinks station stocked - Replenishing food as needed - Clearing empty glasses and plates - Keeping the serving areas and garden looking tidy throughout the event We’re looking for approximately 2-3 hours of help. Please only respond if you have experience working at private parties, events or similar hospitality roles. When responding, we’d love to hear about your relevant experience including the types of events you’ve worked at. I’m looking for someone who can: * Source and bring the decorations. * Decorate the dining table and, if possible, the garden with warm white fairy lights and battery-operated LED candles. * Add a small, elegant floral arrangement (white or neutral colours preferred). * Complete the setup before 6:30 pm on the day of the dinner. The style should be tasteful and understated—more luxury boutique hotel than party decorations. No balloons or large birthday signs. Please include the cost of the decorations in your quote and share photos of similar setups if you have them. My budget is around £100–£150, including decorations, but I’m happy to consider slightly higher quotes if the result is beautiful.

Hello, I am looking for decoration remediation following builders provided by my insurance. They did a slap-stick job on almost everything, did not finish painting (only primed) and and left windows, baseboards, doorframes, etc un sanded and unsightly. They stole the paint, brass plates, and door handles that lock as well as painted all the hinges. They also completely destroyed the aesthetics of the guest bathroom which need tile panels/new flooring/etc. I would like to get this remediated as soon as possible. Please send offers for these works. I do not have the paint/brass light and plug plates/etc. as they were taken, but I do know the paint colours so you can include these items to your quote. I would also like box paneling in the living room and up the base staircase and upstairs hallway as well as the wall between kitchen and living room removed. This is a 2-bedroom, 2 bathroom flat and I am looking to have this done as soon as possible. Please send me an offer and timeline.
