I’m looking for an experienced and reliable floor fitter to replace the existing carpet in a bedroom (approximately 15 m²) with laminate wood flooring. I will supply all materials, including the flooring, underlay and scotia. The work will include: – Removing and disposing of the existing carpet – Installing the new flooring and scotia – Minor door trimming if required The room will be fully cleared of furniture prior to installation. The subfloor is in reasonable condition. Please provide a labour-only quote, along with your availability and estimated timescale for the job.

I need to screed my floor and the laminate tiles I planned to cover are loose so need to be removed before I can screed. Most are loose and can be easily lifted by hand or with a scraper, but some are more stuck - they might need to be loosened with a heat gun.
