Find an experienced local interior designer in East London

I’ve recently broken my leg and can’t move around much, so I’m looking for one really organised, tidy, detail-oriented person (or two people working together) to help me get the house looking and feeling lovely for Christmas. We’re hosting this year, and I normally do all the decorating myself, but it’s just not possible right now. The job is a mix of light decluttering/organising and putting up Christmas decorations. Light decluttering and organising: Clearing and organising surfaces and shelves in the kitchen and living room, grouping things neatly, and generally helping the space feel calmer and more ordered. Anything we remove from shelves or surfaces should go into the boxes the Christmas decorations are currently stored in so it all stays contained. Maybe a little light pantry or cupboard tidying if needed, but no deep cleaning. Christmas decorating: Putting up one large Christmas tree and one smaller one, decorating both with the ornaments I provide, and adding some festive touches around the room (mantel, shelves, tables, etc.). The aim is just to make the house feel warm and cosy for the holidays. Time estimate: Roughly a full day (7–8 hours) for one person, or around 5–6 hours if two people come together. Budget: £400 total (please mention if you’re applying solo or as a pair). I’ll provide all decorations, storage boxes, and guidance on the overall look — I just need someone who’s organised, careful with delicate items, and has a good eye for making a space feel nice. We did a big refurb back in 2019 but made a few design choices we’re now regretting—particularly the flooring in the kitchen and living room. Painting a concrete floor and general tidying up and decorating in a cafe. The works can be done over Boxing Day and New Years Day with the cafe needing to open after each days work.

Hello! We’re Matt and Lucía and we’re in the process of buying our first property in Leyton, London, which we’re hoping to renovate as soon as we have the keys! We have some ideas in mind already, and we’re looking for quotes for our proposed project - any advice would also be much appreciated! The initial scope of the work would be: Removing the existing downstairs bathroom and internal wall Extending the upstairs toilet into a full master bathroom by taking space from the small room Adding a downstairs toilet and shower by taking space from the dining room Please see the images to get a better idea of what we’re hoping to achieve (sorry for the poor quality)! We’re pretty hands-on people and hoping to do as much of the work as possible to make it cheaper, but obviously we’ll need help doing the professional bits such as plumbing, wiring etc. We’re also keen to choose all the materials that we need for the project. One bedroom flat decoration.

We have a victorian house with a long living room where the front and back rooms were made into one. We'd like advice on how to best set up the space, particularly as we now have a small child too. We'd like to use it as a living room for relaxing, some play space and possibly add a desk/work space. Happy to have an online consultation if that's preferred, otherwise postcode is London E17. We're keen to keep our current furniture if we can, but open to getting rid of some if needed or buying a few new pieces if they would fit better. It's a small space, but the design would need to be practical in terms of family life (space to play, easy to tidy up, room for guests to sit) as well as have some storage and not feel cluttered. We have a cat so if we can incorporate something simple for him (eg. space for a cat tree or a way to access a high shelf) that would be great.
