■ Gas Installation – Work Scope (CCLP1 LPG) Trailer: 3 m catering unit Fuel: Propane (bottle-fed) Appliances: 1 × griddle, 1 × fryer 1. Cylinders & Storage • Fit external LPG locker with top/bottom vents. • Install 37 mbar regulator, OPSO, pigtails & changeover valve. • Add isolation valves, secure bottles, label & ventilate per regs. 2. Pipework • Run 10–15 mm copper pipe from manifold to appliances. • Secure clips, fit isolation valves, BS 3212/EN 14800 flexi hoses. • Leak & tightness test with manometer. • Fit emergency shut-off inside trailer. 3. Appliance Setup • Connect griddle & fryer, check FFDs & correct propane jets. • Test flame picture & burner pressure. • Record operating pressures & safety checks. 4. Ventilation • Verify fixed high/low vents. • Check or install extraction hood/fan per BS 6173. • Confirm make-up air & airflow readings. 5. Safety • Fit/verify CO & gas detectors, fire blanket. • Provide CO■ + Wet Chem extinguishers. • Add LPG/no-smoking signage. 6. Testing & Certs • Tightness & working-pressure tests. • Verify ≤ 1 mbar drop, no leaks. • Issue CP44 certificate (Mobile Catering). 7. Handover • Supply schematic, test results & certificate. • Demonstrate safe use & isolation. • Advise annual re-test.

Gas valve needs replacing

Gas fire place not working or igniting. Gas valve is present. Would like someone to investigate and give a quote to see how much it would cost to fix it.

Hello, I’m looking for a Gas Safe engineer to connect an outdoor LPG firepit to a standard gas cylinder. All fittings, regulator, and hose are already supplied. The scope should just involve: Checking compatibility of the supplied components. Connecting the hose and regulator to the appliance and cylinder. Leak testing and confirming safe operation. Issuing a brief note or confirmation of the test results. There is no new fixed pipework or additional materials required, and the work should take no more than one hour.
