I need an experienced Tasker to repair water-damaged laminate flooring caused by a washing machine leak. Issue: Approximately 20 swollen/buckled planks plus the area around the bottom/perimeter of the kitchen island. The click-lock laminate has raised edges and height differences, mainly along the kitchen back wall facing the living room and under/around the island base. I have already stopped the leak, removed standing water, and dried the area. Work required: Carefully remove baseboards along the kitchen wall. Lift and replace the ~20 damaged planks, starting from the wall edge. Inspect subfloor and ensure it's dry. Carefully cut and fit new planks around the kitchen island base (without fully moving the heavy island if possible). Reinstall baseboards neatly and leave proper expansion gaps. You can supply materials. Please quote your total price (labour + any materials). Experience with laminate water damage repairs is preferred. Flexible timing – ideally within the next 1-2 weeks. Looking for a flooring professional or carpenter to finish and repair my engineered wood floor. Several boards are loose and creak when walked on. They need re-fixing properly (nail gun or what’s appropriate). The transition/threshold area also needs completing and trimming so it’s neat and secure. Please only respond if you’ve done engineered floor repairs before.

I have a roof terrace 3m x 3m, which needs to be cleaned (removing some mould), then some small repairs (ie replacing some nails), then treating the deck ahead of summer.

One or two wood tiles (floor) need fix

2m wedge gap in floating laminate floor. Boards separated after steam cleaning but do not sink. Need someone with a flooring pull bar or suction gap closer to slide them back together. Quick 20-30 min job. No materials needed.

I have some laminate flooring that has been mistakenly cut incorrectly in one section, and as a result doesn't quite fit around the toilet basin in the room - but we also have some off-cuts and I *believe* it should be possible to lay down the flooring in two parts (most likely with with some adhesive to secure it). One part of the bath panel has also been fitted on a wonk as well and could do with being fixed, or otherwise made good. The last thing we would need is some sealant to be set down where the flooring meets the bath/shower to protect leakage.

I have an LVT click floor that was installed three months ago. The floor was not properly levelled. One of the floorboards has now cracked, and there are three small areas where the floor is particularly not level and I fear more cracking. I would like to, if I can, level these sections without changing the entire floor.

My floor was laid three months ago, but the ground wasn’t levelled properly first. This resulted in a small dent in the flooring in a main walking area. The LVT floorboard has now cracked, unsurprisingly. I want the gap underneath levelling, and the floorboard either replacing, or the split made good.

I need to do a temporary repair on 2 floorboards in my bathroom. I want to keep the original floorboards but they have a crack. The recommendation from the old owner - who is a builder but lives overseas, says to put a brace understand the floorboards to stablise them. He said should be relatively easy. To remove the 2 floorboards, temporarily move the toilet basin to access, brace then return The floorboards are attached with - Bullet Hole Screws The toilet has 2 screws toilet and would need to be moved, water stopped The job has to be Wednesday as I am travelling before and afterwards. I can be home all day, ideally done during the day in case we need wood from Leyland - they need to be open and they are across the road

I've got damaged LVT floor board in the kitchen. I have 4 spare planks. I’d like the worst damaged boards replaced and the others stabilised without replacing the whole floor.

Flooring wasn’t done very well and has broken off. Have two spare laminate pieces and require it to be fixed.

I'm the owner of a second floor flat in Stoke Newington. I have an issue with some discolouration and raising of wood flooring near a balcony area (see pictures). This seems to be caused by some kind of water ingress from the outside balcony, possibly due to defective seal on the door. I need to understand what is causing the problem and a cost effective fix. Please let know what experience you have. Happy to show the problem more closely via video call if helpful to understand what will be needed.

It’s a one-bedroom flat with wooden laminate flooring. Currently, there are some damaged planks near the entrance that need repairing. Additionally, in the kitchen area, two wooden planks require fixing. We do not want to replace the entire flooring — only the affected areas in both locations need to be repaired. I will share photos of the damaged flooring areas for your reference. The first two pics are for entrance and last pic is of kitchen ( 2 planks) needs fixing .
