Looking for someone experienced with original wood flooring / pine floorboards to repair a damaged board in my flat in Balham. One floorboard has split and partially broken along the edge near the joint. I’m looking for either: - a repair/stabilisation of the existing board, or - replacement of the individual board if needed This is an older property with original pine boards, so ideally looking for someone with flooring/carpentry experience rather than general handyman patchwork. 1. Repair/replace floorboards for 4 bedrooms in upper floor, lobby area and ground floor entrance. A 2 bed flat. Bathroom recently done but a leak has affected some of the floorboards in the rest of the house and we'd like the whole flat done. Some areas a bit spongy under foot. We have had firms out but they all tell us different things.

I’m looking for a carpenter or flooring specialist to inspect and repair damaged bedroom flooring. It looks like previous tenants may have cut out part of the floorboards or created an access panel. There are visible saw cuts, gaps, drilled holes and a section that appears loose/uneven. There are gaps around the edges of my laminate flooring and between each door.

I need these gaps to be somehow filled in and made look nice.

There was a dark brown stain on the flooring I tried to get as much off as I could however, I’ve made a small hole in the vinyl floor. I would need the stain removed and scraped off then I would need the hole filled and fixed. I am happy for a piece of vinyl to be cut from another area that’s not noticeable to fix it but I need it to look as good as new. It’s roughly 1cm.

I have a loose floorboard which needs fixing

The laminate flooring in our kitchen has gaps due to the boards shifting and the previous occupants not fitting the flooring across the full length of the room. The area is approximately 8 square metres. We would like a quote to secure the existing laminate boards so they no longer move.

A floor board has lifted, and we had a damp specialist come and confirmed it isn't swollen, rather it was laid poorly. We need it either fixed or replaced, along with some skirting boards reattached. We don't have any spare boards and will require you to sort that ideally.

Looking for a flooring professional or carpenter to finish and repair my engineered wood floor. Several boards are loose and creak when walked on. They need re-fixing properly (nail gun or what’s appropriate). The transition/threshold area also needs completing and trimming so it’s neat and secure. I need to do a temporary repair on 2 floorboards in my bathroom. I want to keep the original floorboards but they have a crack. The recommendation from the old owner - who is a builder but lives overseas, says to put a brace understand the floorboards to stablise them. He said should be relatively easy.
