We have: Baxi boiler Elson Zircon 210i, 210-litre indirect unvented hot-water cylinder Google Nest controlling the heating and hot water Please only respond if you are experienced with Baxi boilers, unvented hot-water cylinders and motorised valves/central-heating controls. The business must be currently Gas Safe registered for the relevant work, appropriately insured, and able to provide its registered company name and Companies House number for verification before appointment. No remedial work is required as part of this task. The deliverable is the site inspection and written technical remedial assessment. All communication must remain in writing through Airtasker.

Hello, I need a boiler service certificate for a boiler in my restaurant. I believe the boiler itself is a domestic-type boiler, although it is installed in a commercial property. I have attached a photo of the boiler so you can check. The boiler is working perfectly fine. My main reason for arranging this is that my landlord has asked me to provide a valid boiler service certificate. I would therefore need the inspection/service to be carried out by someone who is properly qualified and authorised to issue a valid certificate. I would prefer not to have unnecessary work carried out on the boiler since it is working fine, but if servicing is required in order to issue the certificate, that is absolutely fine. Could you please let me know if you can do this and how much you would charge? Thank you.

Need a new boiler supplied and fitted. Don't need a powerful one as this is for an out building with one shower so no need for an expensive one. But has to be reliable. Open to installation only quotes too. It will be at the same location ... horizontal flue out the wall.

I have checked and is in working order, all the status lights are green which indicate the hive is connected and working and the same for the boiler as we have hot water. However the thermostat still does not send signal to heat up

Recently serviced gas boiler (28th Aug 2026). Central heating is working. A few to look at around the cylinder, EV. 1) looking for minimum G3-qualified plumber. Looking to get work done on 8-Sep-2026 evening. 2) hot water motorized valve is not operating automatically. It has to be changed - I have already purchased new valve (in photo) - I need that to be replaced with new valve. (A) In case of changing valve body which would need a bit draining - indicate how much additional you would charge. 3) expansion vessel (EV) to be pressure checked and re-pressured as needed 4) there are drops of water dripping (very mild) in tundish. Which happens if EV pressure or one of the red valve needs changing. If EV recharge doesn't sort it out, do you carry those valves with you? (B) Indicate how much is it with material and labour to change/fix? 5) parking situation - a normal hatchback car, or small van (not transit vans) can fit in 1 curved parking space in front of building premises. Or easier, arrive 5.15pm'ish or later - 5.30pm onwards on-street parking is free. Just 1 hr parking is approx £8 there. Pictures attached. Indicate offer without (A) and (B). I would like to know how much if A & B have to be done.

You must be a plumber or a heating engineer. Boiler diagnosis completed as follows below and need someone to replace both parts. Parts to be ordered separately and not included in price here. - system pressure was low. I topped up the pressure and reset the boiler; however, the boiler still failed to fire. The appliance was displaying the fault code shown in the photographs provided. I referred to the manufacturer's instructions, which identify this fault as relating to the gas valve. I then contacted the manufacturer directly to confirm, and they advised that the fault is associated with the gas valve and ignition electrodes, with replacement of these components being the recommended course of action. The active fault codes displayed on the front of the boiler provide a clear indication of the fault condition being detected by the appliance, and the manufacturer has confirmed that these codes relate to the gas valve and ignition electrodes.

There’s a gap beneath my boiler that needs to be covered as it’s a possible entry point for mice. The pest control company has asked for a Perspex sheet to built and siliconed in place around the boilers paperwork. Would need to be custom fitted and make w a jigsaw. Thanks
