Hi, I need help with my electric water heating system (see attached photos). It’s a Joule hot water cylinder connected to a Timeguard controller. The issue is that the shower only produces warm water, not hot water – even when I press the “Boost” button. The system powers on, but the water temperature is not reaching a usable level. The Baxi boiler was making loud fan noises. A Baxi engineer inspected and identified a blocked waste pipe due to sagging. He advised that the pipe the whole system needs to be flushed to prevent further issues. Note: Payment will only be released once the issue is fully resolved...like no further Noise.

Additionally, the thermostat currently requires constant USB power and cannot be mounted to the wall, which indicates a potential wiring problem. The task involves: Diagnose and fix the intermittent hot water issue. Properly wire the Nest thermostat to receive a constant power source from the heating system (e.g., install a C-wire or Nest Power Connector). Ensure the Nest thermostat and boiler are communicating correctly.
