Ideal boiler showing L2 and F2 error – no heating or hot water My Ideal gas boiler is displaying an L2 and F2 ignition fault error, and currently there is no heating or hot water in the house. I have a young child in the property so this is urgent. I have already tried basic troubleshooting including: • Resetting the boiler several times • Checking gas supply (gas is working normally) • Topping up boiler pressure (currently around 1.3–1.5 bar) • Checking for obvious issues The boiler attempts to ignite but fails and returns the L2 and F2 error. The pressure drops slightly during ignition but remains within normal range. I need a Gas Safe registered engineer to diagnose and fix the issue as soon as possible.

We use a potterton boiler and it stopped working. We would normally just reset it and it will be fine but this time, it just shows the amber status light and it did not ignite. Tried turning it off and back on, but still same status.

My boiler is not pushing out hot water to the taps. This has happened on a few occasions. It is under warranty and the manufacturer said they won’t come out to repair it again until it is powerflushed. I don’t have any radiators (just underfloor heating) and is a ground floor flat. I had it inspected recently and no issues with the boiler were found

Just had a new boiler fitted, and up the wall and underneath the boiler needs boxing in please

Repressurised boiler this afternoon and pressure gone too high - requires water bleeding from system but I do not have the equipment to complete this task

Remove gas combi boiler from wall and remove from loft via hatch with assistance (me) Boiler located in fully boarded loft accessible by fixed ladder and hatch. Gas supply disconnected. Partially drained but will need to fully drain. Boiler to be scrapped and no pipework is being retained. Tasker is welcome to remove the entire boiler or individual componenets. I will take care of disposing of remaining parts. Estimate 2 hours.

I have a boiler with 2 connecting pipes going into it. One of the pipes is leaking so just needs attention and tightening.

I would love a quote for a Boiler Timer replacement for my 1 bed flat. The boiler itself works fine, but it has to be turned on and off manually. The existing timer attached to the water heater switch is completely unresponsive - it does not display anything or respond to my attempts to reset. I have been operating the water heater manually since I moved in but would like to install a new digital timer so that I can program water heating automatically and easily. The boiler only affects hot water as my radiator system is electric. I would prefer this job to be completed in one visit so would like the replacement timer to be sourced by yourselves in advance or to be given guidance on which to order in advance so that it is ready to install on the same day as your visit.

My boiler seems to be in good working order but isn’t producing and heat - I need someone to have a look at it and my settings and let me know. Both water and heating isn’t working

This boiler is not working as it should and I was recommended to replace the heating elements. So looking for someone to do this... It's not heating water well or fast enough, it costs me insane amount of money (like summertime around £100 goes to just have hot water in the morning for one shower session). Now it provides barely warm water after 3 hours of heating water. I don't know price for this work so please do let me know how much materials and labour will cost!

My radiators are not working with my usual settings on the thermostat panel. The hot water and Towel rail are working very well. It might be a problem of boiler setting/connection.
