Bought the house recently and thinking of redoing the flooring upstairs so thought that it might be worth also moving the boiler. The boiler is in one of the rooms upstairs and we want to move it down to the kitchen. From research I saw that moving boilers may impact the flooring so I'm thinking of doing it both now to save money and time. Also, from my understanding the boiler is combi-boiler but I can confirm once I move in. For now I'm looking for quotes.

The people that owned the property before me enclosed the boiler In a cabinet, I wanted to get the boiler serviced but the engineer couldn't access the top part due to it being enclosed, I just need a hole cutting in the top big enough so their is access and the boiler can be serviced

Boiler relocation to original location bon same floor.

I’m looking for a joiner to build two bespoke floor-to-ceiling cupboards. The first is to box in my boiler and all of the exposed pipework, with the cupboard extending down to the floor. I’d like it to have two doors: an upper door for full access to the boiler for servicing and maintenance, and a lower door opening into a storage cupboard underneath the boiler for household items. The second cupboard is to box in my electricity meter and consumer unit, again extending all the way to the floor. This should include an access door for the meter and electrics, with a built-in shoe rack in the lower section to make use of the space while still allowing safe access when needed. I’d like both cupboards to have a clean, modern finish that matches the room, with all pipework and cables neatly concealed where possible, while ensuring the boiler and electrics remain fully accessible and comply with any required ventilation and clearance regulations. I’ve attached photos of both areas for reference and would appreciate a quote.

I'am looking to get a quote for gas and heating work at my property. Because this involves a gas combi boiler and removing gas lines, we require a contractor who is Gas Safe registered and holds valid public liability insurance. Here is a breakdown of the work required: - Move the gas combi boiler from the first floor down to the kitchen (it will stay within the same vertical line/alignment). - Move the existing kitchen radiator to a different wall. - Disconnect and completely remove the gas cooker and cap off/remove the gas pipes in the kitchen. - Remove the old gas heater in the hallway and install a new radiator in its place connected to the heating system. - Modify and reroute a small section of the heating pipes inside a wardrobe. You must be a plumber or a heating engineer. Boiler diagnosis completed as follows below and need someone to replace both parts. Parts to be ordered separately and not included in price here. - system pressure was low. I topped up the pressure and reset the boiler; however, the boiler still failed to fire. The appliance was displaying the fault code shown in the photographs provided. I referred to the manufacturer's instructions, which identify this fault as relating to the gas valve. I then contacted the manufacturer directly to confirm, and they advised that the fault is associated with the gas valve and ignition electrodes, with replacement of these components being the recommended course of action. The active fault codes displayed on the front of the boiler provide a clear indication of the fault condition being detected by the appliance, and the manufacturer has confirmed that these codes relate to the gas valve and ignition electrodes.

There’s a gap beneath my boiler that needs to be covered as it’s a possible entry point for mice. The pest control company has asked for a Perspex sheet to built and siliconed in place around the boilers paperwork. Would need to be custom fitted and make w a jigsaw. Thanks

Hi, I’m looking for a professional decorator or handyman to repair and repaint water-damaged walls in the common stairwell area of my apartment in NW3 London. There was previously a leak from my boiler (faulty ball valve), but this has now been fixed and the area is drying out properly. The walls currently have: • Brown water staining • Flaking / bubbling paint • Some minor plaster damage • Light mould in one lower corner I want the job done properly so the staining doesn’t come back through. The job likely requires: • Scraping back all loose paint • Treating any mould • Sealing with stain-blocking primer (e.g. Zinsser) • Filling / patch plaster repair where needed • Sanding smooth • Repainting (white/neutral to match existing) This is in a stairwell so access may require care (not very high ceilings but awkward angles). Boiler pressure dropped - need someone to re pressureise

I have a boiler with 2 connecting pipes going into it. One of the pipes is leaking so just needs attention and tightening.

I would love a quote for a Boiler Timer replacement for my 1 bed flat. The boiler itself works fine, but it has to be turned on and off manually. The existing timer attached to the water heater switch is completely unresponsive - it does not display anything or respond to my attempts to reset. I have been operating the water heater manually since I moved in but would like to install a new digital timer so that I can program water heating automatically and easily. The boiler only affects hot water as my radiator system is electric. I would prefer this job to be completed in one visit so would like the replacement timer to be sourced by yourselves in advance or to be given guidance on which to order in advance so that it is ready to install on the same day as your visit.
