Internal Door Repair – 2 Doors I need someone to repair two internal doors. The door handles on both doors are not operating the latch properly — the part that goes in and out of the door frame doesn’t seem to be working when the handle is turned. Both doors are the same style, and they may need the existing handle/latch mechanisms repaired or replaced. Job includes: * Diagnose the issue with both doors * Repair or replace the handle/latch mechanisms as required * Make sure both doors open, close and latch properly * Supply/install replacement parts if needed (please let me know the cost of parts beforehand)

Hi, I need a specialist tradesperson to fix water damage on an indoor wooden subfloor and seal a leaking balcony door threshold.This is a hidden defect from the previous owner. The area was recently covered with new laminate flooring during a dry summer peak, so the ongoing balcony leak wasn't discovered until now. Rainwater is bypassing the external balcony membrane and tracking directly underneath the sliding door threshold into the room. This has caused localised wood rot and damp on the subfloor boards directly under the door frame (covering an area of about 1 meter ).I am completely happy for the new laminate planks in this corner to be removed and disposed of, as I have a brand-new spare pack of the exact same laminate flooring ready to go.The job will involve:Removing the new laminate planks in the affected corner.Cutting out the rotted/damaged section of the wooden subfloor right up to the underside of the balcony door track.Correctly sealing and waterproofing the external-to-internal threshold junction underneath the door frame to stop the water ingress permanently.Treating the remaining joists/timbers with a professional anti-mould/fungicidal wash.Installing a new plywood/timber patch to repair the subfloor and make it level.Re-laying the laminate in this corner using my spare pack and re-fitting the newly installed skirting board.Please quote for labor and subfloor materials. Experience with balcony threshold waterproofing and laminate floor fitting is highly preferred. Thank you!

The garage door, which has a T-handle lock, and opens up and over, is no longer opening evenly. It appears that the cable on one side has snapped. 

Hinges need replacing (rusty and rotten) and door needs repair near the connection. Door at present doe son shut as is not aligned and not secure.

We have two patio doors which need some attention. They were reused and repositioned when we built our extensions. However I believe they need some tlc with sealing, silicone outside and gaps , I don’t think they are water tight and have gaps which have been abit of a nightmare with ants lately just want it as it should be gaps sealed and anything else they may require. There may also be a few gaps under the threshold where it meets the bricks outside I imagine this is an access point. If you are able to help with something like this please do let us know.

There is a small dent and chip to the surface finish on one of my doors. The damage is only a few millimetres in size, and I’m hoping to repair it without having to repaint the entire door. I have the code for the right paint.
