Sage barista pro, air being sucked in during extraction then water leaks at end of process from the bottom/middle of the machine

Coffee machine has developed an issue with getting steam and hot water to the group head, I have troubleshot several usual machine issues. Could be an electrical issue with the solenoid but don’t have the know how to diagnose that problem. I have torn down the machine and done the following: New pump fitted. Flow rate meter checked and free spinning. Safety valve from top of pump free of blockage. Solenoid feeds checked and clear. Some deposits and maybe damage on right hand side valve pipe that leads from solenoid to the lower right of group head. Cannot check solenoid activation (electrical) Group head is heating and producing heat/steam in pipe from pump to group head.

My Sage Bambino Plus coffee machine has stopped working. The pump still makes a noise but no water is pulled through the machine. We had a similar issue before and I believe it was due to limescale build up and something had to be replaced.

We have a Sage Oracle BES 980 coffee machine. Started to make a lot of noise lately when using it. Given it is just over 5 years old feel it needs a good service given the hard water which I am aware takes it toll on these machines. If it makes sense to replace some parts as part if this then open to considering this. We have always replaced filters and cleaned it with the correct sage products etc but it has never had a proper engineer service it. We had an issue with heating last year and had one part replaced a year or so ago. That is all.

Water mixed with coffee residues is accumulating inside the machine and in the coffee grounds container, which should normally remain almost dry. There are visible water traces and leakage marks under and around the brew unit, indicating that water is not being correctly channelled to the drip tray and is instead leaking inside the machine. The issue appeared gradually and has become worse over time. Observed symptoms Water and coffee sludge collecting in the used coffee grounds container Water leaking inside the machine body Moisture and residue around the brew unit area No external leaks from the water tank itself Suspected causes Based on the symptoms, the most likely causes are: Worn or hardened seals (O-rings) on the brew unit piston Possible leakage from the drain valve / upper piston assembly Potential deterioration or loose connection of internal silicone hoses Given the age of the machine, seal degradation is considered the primary cause.
