Two Reliable People Needed – Household Sorting & Organising (Welwyn Garden City, AL8) We are looking for two reliable, patient and physically capable people to help an elderly lady organise and sort through belongings in her home. The aim is to make the process as easy and comfortable as possible for her. She will remain seated while you bring items and boxes to her so she can decide what to keep, donate, dispose of or move elsewhere. Tasks will include: Bringing boxes and belongings down from the loft, garage and various rooms. Showing items to the lady so she can decide what she wishes to do with them. Sorting belongings into clearly labelled boxes: keep, charity, rubbish or move to another property. Moving items into their designated storage areas. Helping organise and tidy the garage, including putting up some shelving already purchased. Bagging unwanted items and preparing them for disposal or charity collection. We are looking for people who are: Patient, friendly, respectful and understanding when working with an elderly person. Physically fit and comfortable moving boxes and accessing loft storage. Organised, efficient and happy to follow instructions. Careful when handling personal and potentially fragile belongings. Location: Welwyn Garden City, AL8 Duration: Approximately 4 hours initially, with potential for additional work. Payment: Hourly rate to be agreed. This is primarily a hands-on sorting, lifting and organising job, rather than a cleaning role. No decisions about disposing of belongings will be made without the lady's approval. Looking for a reliable female cleaner for around 2.5-3 hours once a month. My home is generally maintained day to day, so I’m mainly looking for help with the jobs I don’t get around to bathroom/toilet, skirting boards, detailed dusting, moving light furniture to vacuum underneath/behind etc. I’d also really like someone who is naturally good at organising and can occasionally help reorganise wardrobes/drawers/storage rather than everything needing to be cleaned every visit.
