I’m looking for a handyman experienced with DIY/roofing to finish the roof of an already mostly-built wooden gazebo in my garden. The gazebo is approximately 3m x 3m and around 2.5m high. The main frame and roof structure are already built, but the gazebo was left unfinished while we were away for around a year. Work required: * Re-secure/re-nail any roof panels/boards that have become loose or disconnected, making sure the roof is properly secured together. * Fit the roofing membrane/felt underlay over the roof. * Install the roof shingles over the membrane to finish the roof. * Make sure everything is properly secured and the roof is left complete and tidy. Materials: All required materials are already provided, including the roof pieces/panels, membrane, shingles, nails and other necessary fittings. You will need to bring your own tools and ladder(s) suitable for working at approximately 2.5m height. You are welcome to bring another person to help you if required, particularly because of the size and height of the gazebo. Payment: £100 total for completion of the job. Payment will be made 100% upon satisfactory completion of the agreed work. Ideally looking for someone who can complete this efficiently and leave the gazebo roof fully finished and secure.

I need a full, end-to-end replacement of an existing, failing gravel-surfaced flat roof. Total area is approx. 18sqm. I am looking for a professional installer who can properly strip the old roof, treat the underlying deck, and install a high-quality, long-lasting EPDM rubber membrane. Scope of Works: · Strip & Prep: Completely remove old roofing felt, gravel, and any rotten timber. Remove existing moss and debris. · Decking: Supply and lay 18mm OSB3 ply boards to ensure a solid, flat surface. (Note: Existing timber along the edges is rotten and will need replacing before the new decking is laid). · Membrane: Install EPDM rubber across the whole 18m² area. · Trims: Install uPVC edge trims (fascia/drip trims) to secure and finish all edges neatly. · Sealing: Glue down and fully seal the EPDM membrane to the new timber decking and all edges/flashings to guarantee it is 100% watertight. · Guttering: Supply and install a new, seamless uPVC gutter system to match the new edge trims. · Waste: Take away all old roofing materials and debris, leaving the work area clean and tidy. My Priorities: · Quality workmanship: I am not looking for a short-term patch; I want this to be the last time I need to fix this roof. · Solid structure: The rotting fascia/timber must be cut out and replaced before the new OSB is fitted. · Guarantee: Please confirm in your bid if you provide a workmanship guarantee for the EPDM installation. If you bid: Please clearly state your total price for materials and labour and confirm if you can supply and install the 18mm OSB, EPDM, trims, and uPVC guttering all within that single quote.

Definitely need the ridge part replaced as breaking and rusty which in turn will cause leaking inside. Possibly the roof sheets replaced depending on cost. The shed roof is roughly 238cms x 386cms but difficult to be precise. Slightly sloped roof coming off the garage as previous owner built off garage with access into it. Just need idea of cost and time to complete the job. Many thanks.

We had a roofer come upgrade our soffits and fascia's from wood to plastic last year. The job wasn't quite finished because there was a birds nest in the roof. We have the fascia board left over to finish the job, but the finisher would presumably need the same edging fittings, screws. screw covers as those already fitted (anthracite colour). It's a small job, fitting the last ~2m or so of fascia board.
