Unsure on price so please advise in offer! We have a brick outbuilding at the end of our garden. It has a roof made of beams, flat wood sheets and roofing felt. This has gotten wet and is now bowing/ causing quite a leak. (Attached original photo from when it was in its initial condition!) We have bought some large roofing sheets that we plan to use to replace the roof (as seen in second photo). At the moment these sheets are just placed on top of the original roof and are not attached. Would be looking to get either the whole roof replaced (original damaged wood removed) or just the new roofing sheets attached at a slight incline so that the rain rolls off a little easier (as more of a short term fix) Will take the advice from the offerer on the best course of action :)

We were cleaning our gutters and noticed a few tiles were off place and some that require re-cementing (maybe 4 or 5 tiles at best). The job we imagine is a quick fix and so need a handyman/roofer happy to take on the job for the hour (not whole day job)

I need someone to convert the plastic roof on my lean-to (currently in awful condition) to something opaque and insulated. The roof is angled so the water rolls off when it rains, I want it to remain like that so I do not need to install a gutter as well. I'm looking to save money so will be happy to consider budget options. Surface area is approx (though not exact) 1.9x4 m. I am looking for an experienced roofer for this job.

I’m looking for someone experienced in carpentry/garage conversions to improve the inside of my garage roof. The garage has an exposed pitched timber roof with roofing felt visible between the rafters. I want to keep the pitched/vaulted roof look rather than install a flat ceiling. The job would ideally include: Inspect the existing roof/rafters and advise on the best way to finish it Add insulation between the pitched rafters where appropriate Make sure suitable ventilation/air gaps are maintained to avoid condensation Fit a suitable vapour control layer if required Clad the underside of the pitched roof with plywood for a clean finished appearance Keep the main horizontal structural timber beams exposed Cut boards neatly around the existing roof structure Make good/tidy any visible edges and junctions The garage is being used as a home gym / office, so I’m mainly looking to make it warmer, cleaner and more finished while retaining the character of the exposed pitched roof. I’m happy for you to supply materials or quote for labour only. Please let me know your experience with insulated garage roofs / vaulted ceilings and roughly how you would approach the ventilation and insulation.

Approximately a dozen ridge cap terracotta tiles are dislodged. Will need replacing and repointing . A few other tiles are either cracked or dislodged. Lastly the adjoining flashing on the southern side of roof attached to adjacent building roof ,is needs attention. Water is seeping through. Access maybe gained from the rear of the building , preferably. If it is possible to complete the works outlined without the assistance of scaffolding, that would be preferred, given the additional expense.. I have sent a Drone up to get some detailed images. Any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask, we are open to suggestions. Price negotiable. Kind regards Nick

I’m looking for someone experienced in roofing and gutter repairs to investigate a leak at my house. I suspect a blocked gutter or downpipe may be causing water to back up and leak into the property, but I need someone to check and confirm the cause. The work would involve: Inspecting the roof, guttering and downpipe to find the leak. Clearing any blockages if needed. Carrying out any necessary repairs. The affected area is high up at roof level, so you’ll need to bring a tall ladder and any other equipment needed to access it safely. Please include your availability and inspection cost, and let me know whether gutter cleaning is included in your quote. its a Victorian house

We have a leak at our warehouse during periods of heavy rain. A section of an old cast-iron rainwater pipe was recently replaced due to damage caused by vegetation growth. Since the replacement, there appears to be a leak at the connection point between the new and existing pipework. The leak only occurs during heavy rainfall, suggesting the joint is not fully sealed or watertight. We are looking for an experienced roofer, drainage specialist, or general builder to: - Inspect the pipe connection and identify the source of the leak. - Properly seal, repair, or replace the affected joint as required. - Ensure the connection is fully watertight and suitable for heavy rain conditions. - Advise if any additional remedial work is needed. The warehouse is occupied and access can be arranged during working hours. Photos of the affected area are provided. Accessible via a ladder that we have on site.
