There is a persistent water leak in one of the pipes beneath the boiler.

Hello! We need a small white cupboard with a door installed in the kitchen to cover the boiler. The aim is for it to blend in to the existing cabinet in terms of size and shape. Measurements: 920mm (H) x 400mm (W) Will also need a matching wall end panel x 2 and cupboard plinth x 1 500mm to complete the installation. Materials not included. Thank you :)

Boiler keeps loosing pressure , boiler only 3 yr old

I’d like to book an annual boiler/heating service, and at the same time, get a quote to split my central heating into two independent zones. Currently, the Worcester boiler heats one flat. I would like: Zone 1 (First Floor): Underfloor heating controlled independently by its own thermostat/manifold. Zone 2 (Second Floor): Radiators controlled independently by a separate thermostat.

Looking for an experienced Gas Safe registered heating engineer/plumber to come to my flat in Kennington/Oval on Wednesday 30 September to look at two issues: 1. Baxi boiler / central heating system * Baxi Megaflo 24 System ErP, installed around 2016/17 when the flat was built. * The boiler/system is currently working, but the pressure gradually drops and needs topping up roughly once a week. * I’d like someone to diagnose why it is losing pressure and check for obvious issues such as the expansion vessel, pressure relief valve, filling loop or a leak elsewhere in the system. * The boiler is approaching 10 years old and hasn’t been serviced since I moved in during 2023, so I’d also like a proper boiler service/check while you’re here. * I’m particularly keen to make sure the system is reliable before winter and before I rent the flat out while travelling. 2. Leaking shower temperature control The thermostatic temperature dial on one of the showers is leaking around the control/faceplate area (photos attached). I’d like this investigated and, if it’s a straightforward cartridge/seal/washer issue, repaired at the same visit. Please only offer if you are Gas Safe registered and comfortable diagnosing both boiler/heating-system pressure issues and shower plumbing. I’m looking to spend around £150 for the visit/service and straightforward repairs. I have an Airtasker voucher worth £200, but this needs to cover the total including Airtasker fees, so please bear that in mind when making an offer. If replacement parts or more substantial work are required, I’m happy for you to diagnose the issue and quote me before doing anything additional. Timing is important: the voucher expires at the end of September, so I specifically need someone who can attend Wednesday 30 September. I can provide additional photos/details beforehand if helpful.

Was switching boiler on and off from the switch now it won’t turn on. I’m assuming the fuse blew or something? Need someone to come and fix it

Boiler condensate water is emptied into a condensate tank and pumped out through pipe via loft and out into roof and downpipe. The end pipe froze last year and we had to shut off our boiler until it defrosted. Clearly the condensate waste pipe can stay indoors and go directly into soil pipe below boiler in airing cupboard. So I need someone to simply this and direct the pipe into the soil pipe.

Looking for someone to help with two small jobs: • Fit a replacement hot water boiler/unit — replacement is already here (the hot water boiler stopped working under warranty so they’ve just sent out a new one) it just needs swapping over and fitting correctly. • Fit/change the CO₂ SodaStream canister for the same tap. • Take a look at a leaking downpipe by the back door. I think it’s just the fittings/connections that need adjusting or replacing, but it’s too high for me to safely reach. Ideally looking for someone confident with basic plumbing/fittings who can sort all in one visit and has the tools etc. The tap company have told us it’s a simple switch and shouldn’t take more than half hour but we don’t trust ourselves and would prefer a professional. Happy to send photos beforehand if helpful.

Walls have been light sanded. Needs re plastering after water damage from roof which has been fixed already.

I have some space in my boiler room and would like some shelves built to utilise the storage space. There are pipes on the wall so the shelves would have to work its way around these.

Hello, I need a boiler service certificate for a boiler in my restaurant. I believe the boiler itself is a domestic-type boiler, although it is installed in a commercial property. I have attached a photo of the boiler so you can check. The boiler is working perfectly fine. My main reason for arranging this is that my landlord has asked me to provide a valid boiler service certificate. I would therefore need the inspection/service to be carried out by someone who is properly qualified and authorised to issue a valid certificate. I would prefer not to have unnecessary work carried out on the boiler since it is working fine, but if servicing is required in order to issue the certificate, that is absolutely fine. Could you please let me know if you can do this and how much you would charge? Thank you.

I have checked and is in working order, all the status lights are green which indicate the hive is connected and working and the same for the boiler as we have hot water. However the thermostat still does not send signal to heat up

I need a plumber to re-pressurize my boiler and to tighten the bathroom heater as it’s leaking at 8 AM on the 9th July 2026 please. I have guest staying in my flat and the only time they can do is 8 AM tomorrow morning.

You must be a plumber or a heating engineer. Boiler diagnosis completed as follows below and need someone to replace both parts. Parts to be ordered separately and not included in price here. - system pressure was low. I topped up the pressure and reset the boiler; however, the boiler still failed to fire. The appliance was displaying the fault code shown in the photographs provided. I referred to the manufacturer's instructions, which identify this fault as relating to the gas valve. I then contacted the manufacturer directly to confirm, and they advised that the fault is associated with the gas valve and ignition electrodes, with replacement of these components being the recommended course of action. The active fault codes displayed on the front of the boiler provide a clear indication of the fault condition being detected by the appliance, and the manufacturer has confirmed that these codes relate to the gas valve and ignition electrodes.
