Tenant reported issue with hot water and gas: - Could not find any clearly marked switch for the boiler - Gas hob did not appear to be working at first - Did not want to keep trying controls without guidance - gas hob worked but fire did not come (their words) - No photos yet — occupier may send boiler/fire photos this evening Need: attend when occupier is home, inspect and fix or quote for any work required.

We have an existing gas connection at our restaurant, but it was stopped during a rebuild and we switched to electric. We now need a Gas Safe engineer to reconnect the gas pipework. The pipe is already installed halfway to the kitchen; we need the remaining section completed and connected to the kitchen.

Job Summary Disconnect a gas cooker and washing machine from the current apartment. Allow approximately 10–20 minutes waiting time while both appliances are moved downstairs and transferred to a neighbouring building. Once moved into the new apartment, reconnect the gas cooker and washing machine, ensuring both appliances are safely and correctly connected. Existing 60cm built-in gas hob needs removing and replacing with a new electriQ 60cm 4 Burner Gas on Glass Hob (EQGH6042VOL). The current hob is connected with a fixed copper gas pipe, so this may need minor alteration/reconnection to suit the new hob. The existing worktop opening measures approximately 559mm x 495mm and the new hob specifies a 560mm x 490mm cut-out. There is a built-in oven directly underneath which can be removed for access, and a standard electrical socket is already there for the hob ignition plug. Please include removal of the old hob, fitting and connecting the new hob, any minor gas pipe adjustment required, and full gas safety/leak testing. Gas Safe registered engineer required.
