I need a gas engineer to disconnect a gas pipe from cooker and it will need to be capped

I need my gas hob and sink disconnected so I can re work my worktops and then come back to reconnect at a later date

All the knobs on gas cooker - Bush AG66SW are working fine except the oven gas knob. When I take off the white D plastic from the oven knob, I can turn the knob 180 degrees with my fingers but when I put the plastic knob back on it turns a little bit and doesn’t shut off the gas. I have sprayed the white lithium grease but didn’t work. Not sure if a part needs replacing as the cooker works well otherwise. I can get and pay for the part/parts if required.

Need someone qualified to come and fit a Gas Hob and a Oven for me in my Flat in E1 Whitechapel. Have attached photos of the two things I need fitted.

Short version: I'm looking to see if there is a gas pipe in my flat that has been capped. I live in a 1-bedroom flat and the gas was (I believe) only for cooking, so this should be a very quick job. Long version: When I bought my flat (decades ago), the previous owner told me that there had been gas in the flat originally for a gas oven; but that he had switched to electricity. At the time I thought he'd capped the pipe; but I phoned Cadent Gas and they think it was disconnected. Before I take their word for it, I'd like a qualified gas engineer to come round and check to see where/ whether there are any pipes, and what else they can see (has it been capped?).
