Hi, I’ve recently purchased a flat in Brixton and looking to get a couple of jobs done: 1. Boxing in a bathtub – I should say that the bathtub is a little wiggly. I’d like a neat and durable solution that complements the existing bathroom style. Also, I would need the wall behind the toilet panelled. I attached the picture of the bathroom so you can see its current state. 2. Installing skirting boards – This would be for the bedroom, livingroom and the hallway. I would need skirting boards for the halfway and living room. The bedroom has skirting boards but those aren’t installed. See pictures attached, there are pipes under the windows that i would like to be covered, would this be possible to do? Would you be able to provide me with an estimate of how much it would cost to 1) fix the bathroom and 2) install the skirting boards throughout the flat (floor plan attached).

Professional painter who is willing to do the job as described in title. It’s a 1 bed flat (527 sq ft). Skirting boards and door frames might need repair/filling in before repainting.

I need a handyman to come and remove a tile skirting board from beneath a shower and replace it with a wooden skirting board that can be screwed on and off and then also trim the end of a skirting board in the kitchen. This is so both skirting boards allow easy access to the cavity behind them as I had a previous rat infestation (that a treatment has been sucessfully completed for), so that builders can come and pest proof my flat.

We've a base/skirting in our kitchen they no longer stays in place. Whenever the dishwasher is opened the board pops out again. It looks like the clipping mechanism has broken off. It's probably a simple and quick job for someone with the proper know how. I don't know how much it would cost so have only suggested a provisional budget.

Job involves cutting down skirting boards and fixing them flush to the wall. Mitre box here to assist with angle cutting for corners. You would need a cutting tool.

Following a new damp course installed need skirting boards to be refitted they maybe need trimming or replacing with new. Must be fitted with adhesive no drilling Office building so work to be completed Monday - Friday

Updated description* I need a new skirting board cut to size and installed in small area of a bedroom (approx 1.72m) The old skirting board has already been removed.

Had laminate flooring removed so need new skirting boards, adding to our hallway. Small room 3x2m with 5 doors. Not actually much skirting really!

We have a storage cupboard where the door doesn't fit, we would like someone to come and remove the door, and fit new door - we can buy new door if better but also happy for you to purchase and bill, so we know we have the right thibg. Plus, when we had the floor lifted the guy removed a few bits of skirting board so we would like this refitting too. Thanks

fit skirting board around media wall, 1.5m width 2.3cm depth..3m skirting board needs to be cut to fit around media wall

I got a new washing machine and due a skirting board sticking out, I can't get it in. I need help removing the skirting board in this area so that I can slide it into place. See the photos. In the photo you can see how it chipped when we tried to shove it in. It does fit - is the same size as my old machine, but whoever put that one in must have fit the kitchen around it.
