I’m looking for a carpenter or flooring specialist to inspect and repair damaged bedroom flooring. It looks like previous tenants may have cut out part of the floorboards or created an access panel. There are visible saw cuts, gaps, drilled holes and a section that appears loose/uneven. I’d like someone to assess whether the floor is safe, check what is underneath before fixing, and carry out a proper repair. During the spin cycle, the washing machine vibrates excessively. The vibration is strong enough that it causes the kitchen worktop, oven and surrounding units to shake. The oven rattles loudly, and even the removable parts of the hob (pan supports and burner caps) have to be taken off before every spin cycle to reduce the noise. We'd like the floor inspected, the damaged floorboard repaired if necessary, and the washing machine stabilised to significantly reduce the vibration. They need re-fixing properly (nail gun or what’s appropriate). The transition/threshold area also needs completing and trimming so it’s neat and secure. I need to do a temporary repair on 2 floorboards in my bathroom. I want to keep the original floorboards but they have a crack. The recommendation from the old owner - who is a builder but lives overseas, says to put a brace understand the floorboards to stablise them. He said should be relatively easy.
