I need help with removing and replacing two appliances that are already in my house. ​The job involves: ​Uninstalling an old cooker and an old washing machine. ​Installing a new cooker and a new washing machine (both are already inside the house ready to go).

A heavy picture frame fell onto a wall socket, cracking the faceplate and pulling it loose from the wall cavity. ​Scope: Replace 1 x standard white double switched socket faceplate like-for-like and re-secure to the backbox/wall. ​Current Condition: Faceplate is cracked; backbox lugs/screws need re-securing. Wiring appears intact (no bare copper exposed, circuit was working before isolating). ​Materials: Please state in your quote if your price includes supplying a basic standard white double socket, or if I should purchase one beforehand. ​Photos: Attached showing the crack, faceplate, and current gap from the wall. Not sure if these are showing up here so if they don't, please ask and I can send the pictures. ​Access/Parking: is available for free next to me.

My portable air conditioner isn’t blowing cold after cleaning filters

My portable ac unit arlec PA1202GB isn’t removing hot air anymore, the exhaust isn’t getting warm at all. It’s blowing slightly cold air but the room temperature isn’t going down at all! I’m wanting to get this looked at for the right price and then decide whether it’s worth the cost of repair. Not wanting to go mad though with hundreds and hundreds at this issue. The units turns on, even the compressor kicks in and makes some noise the fans blow but set to cooling mode the room temperature doesn’t go down at all and the exhaust isn’t removing any hot air.
