Our area had a full mains water outage yesterday (South East Water). When the water supply returned, my washing machine started filling with water by itself, even though it was switched OFF. I think the cold-water inlet valve has failed or is stuck open due to the pressure surge when the water came back. Need someone to inspect and replace the inlet valve. Ideally ASAP
