I have a ceramic hob AEG model MODEL 6010K-BN. I have the manual if needed. The hob has a double cooking zone controlled by a control knob. The way to move from single to double is not working correctly and doesn’t turn on the double every time. The hob is working correctly in the sense that when in single all is good and when we manage to turn on the double is also working ok. It seems something wrong in the control knob or connection between the two parts.

Whirlpool Generation 2000+ Gas hob. The ignition started to constantly click on despite not being pressed. I cut the power at the fuse box and investigated. The actual ignition element was heavily degraded. I have included pictures. I think an inspection of the whole electronics would he needed to be safe but I removed the connecting metal element inside ignition plug and turned the power back on and the ignition has stopped constantly clicking so it may just need to be replaced. I appreciate the photos the thing is filthy, I cleaned everything, and this is an old appliance and I have only recently moved in. The model number of the oven is G2P 62F/SS/01 Type: FCSME
