I am experiencing intermittent electrical faults with my cooker, oven. Symptoms observed: • When the cooker hob or extractor is in use and the oven wall switch is turned on, the circuit breaker trips (requiring reset at the fuse board). • After one trip and reset, the oven remained powered on even though the wall switch was in the off position. • The circuit has also tripped when simply turning down a cooker hob control from a higher to lower setting. • These random but related faults occur only with the cooker/oven/extractor appliances. Could you please attend as an experienced electrician to inspect and safely diagnose/fix the issue? Thank you.

Electric oven disconnection, removal and disposal

We are moving house the new occupants need our current oven disconnected before we leave. It is a gas oven

Built-in electric oven. The oven door glass required repair. A previous repairer removed the oven from the housing and dismantled the door but abandoned the job before completing it. The oven now needs to be correctly reinstalled and secured into the housing, as it is currently sitting unevenly and will not sit flush. The oven door and glass also need to be reassembled and refitted.

My commercial oven gas keeps chipping out the gas flames so every minute I have to keep opening to check if there’s fire on it. Maybe the thermal stack needs changing

Kitchen cabinet adjustment to fit new under-counter double-oven where there was a shorter single-oven before. Plus install of new electric double-oven, connected directly into mains supply.

Take old oven out replace it with another one

My eletric oven is model HHF113BROB/11. The left control knob is broken, and the inner control mechanism where the knob attaches is also damaged. I have purchased the replacement knob and the support part—one labeled “knob” (part number 10024778) and one labeled “support” (part number 10004592). I need someone to replace the broken internal fitting and attach the new control knob.

Fishy smell from oven. Someone from Domex has come round to look at the oven. He said the oven works completely fine. He said he did note the fishy smell and said it could point to an issue with the main electrics but not the oven itself. He recommended for an electrician to come round and take a look at the electrics properly to make sure there isn’t a potentially dangerous fault.
