I would like one broken post replaced along with a rotting beam as well as the steps leading up to the house (bolted on) See photos for description of work. The length of the beam is approx 8.5 metres and it just sits rebated into the post (see photos). The length of the post is about 5.5m (will be one piece and gets bolted into a horse shoe clamp (already installed on the old beam with a concrete base) Beams are 200mm x 50 mm Post is 120mm x 120mm You will need to remove one or two flooring panels on the verandah to replace the beam along with the pickets and reinstall them. See photos. Please quote for LABOUR only and any tools required to do the job. All materials will be paid for on top as required (beams/post and screws/bolts etc) as requested. You will need props of hold up the sections of the verandah from underneath while removing the beam etc. Props are your responsibility and will not be provided. My guess is its a 2 day job by 2 people who has the experience and with all materials delivered on site ready to go. You will need to be insured to do the job. I’m flexible with the task completion date however must finish once started within a reasonable amount of time. More work can be given if this job is done well.

There are some worn wooden slats on our verandah (they bounce). We are getting the entire verandah re-sanded and varnished, so would like the wooden slats replaced/repaired in preparation.

Installation of light weight stone balusters and plinths on stone verandah see image for example. Location of job Vaucluse, 2030 - need a stone mason or tiler or someone else familiar with this very precise work. It’s 60 balusters, 5 pedestals and 26 caps set at 1m lengths apart so total of 26m. We can meet on site to confirm if this is something you are familiar with installing and not be from a hotspot location. All covid safety precautions in place on site as per government requirements. One of the wooden posts on our verandah has broken and verandah is collapsing.

Remove the tiles from veranda. They are quite easy to remove, you will see in the picture I have removed some with a hammer and crow bar. The veranda is about 4.7 by 1.7m.

I am looking for someone to clean up my verandah on Saturday morning. It is approx 2.5m x 12m - all tiles. Sections need a scrub, and the outdoor table will have to be moved so you can clean underneath. I have a gurney, although technically water restrictions only change the following day... ethical dilemma! There is a smelly dog 'toilet' which will also need moving - it's easy, just slightly unpleasant. I think it will take about 2 hours, max. If you could start at around 11, that would be great.
