The roller blinds need to be installed over the window. I have already purchased the blinds and failed in my attempt to mount them on plasterboard, per the instructions. A piece of white wood will instead need to be drilled in to the studs and the blinds installed on that. (This will also have the benefit of covering the ugly drill holes I've left in the plasterboard!)
