We need an experienced tiler to lay tiles over existing tiles for our bathroom floor. We have had a tiler our previously who has confirmed this is doable. (Note: No full bathroom waterproofing required beyond localised drain integration unless otherwise agreed. We will remove the toilet.) Location: Bathroom Area: Approx. 3 m² floor area Existing condition: Existing tiled floor to remain; new tiles to be laid over 1. Preparation     •    Inspect existing tiled floor for soundness and suitability for tile-over-tile installation     •    Clean, degrease and mechanically prepare surface as required (grind/scarify if necessary)     •    Apply appropriate bonding primer suitable for tile-over-tile applications 2. Drain Modification & Installation     •    Remove existing floor waste grates     •    Modify existing PVC floor waste pipe(s) as required to suit new finished floor level     •    Supply and install new compatible floor waste body / puddle flange and adjustable riser (or equivalent compliant system)     •    Install new Elson 80 mm square brass grates, set flush with finished tile level     •    Ensure falls are maintained toward drains 3. Tiling Works     •    Supply and install suitable flexible tile adhesive     •    Lay new heritage-style mesh-mounted tiles over existing tiles (approx. 3 m²) - we will supply tiles     •    Cut tiles neatly around floor wastes and perimeter     •    Ensure correct alignment, spacing, and falls to drains 4. Grouting & Finishing     •    Grout floor tiles with suitable grout (colour to be confirmed)     •    Silicone seal perimeter junctions where floor meets walls / fixtures     •    Clean down and remove all debris from site 5. General     •    Builder/tiler to supply all labour and standard consumables     •    Owner to supply tiles and grates (unless otherwise agreed)     •    Work to be completed to a professional standard with tidy workmanship
