The box gutter around chimney has been patched with a Fast Flash material due to severe rust which has formed holes in the gutter. Flashing has not been sealed correctly which is why water is ingressing. A custom-made back tray flashing is recommended by insurance co inspector, around this chimney which will remove the need for this box gutter altogether as replacement will require replacement of roof sheets and problem will likely reoccur. Budget figure of $100 is ridiculous because I'm not sure what it will cost. - Due date: Before Thursday, 31st Mar 2022

We have no issues with our gutters but require a regular gutter clean - have not had them checked in 3 years. Very minimal overhang of trees so there’s unlikely to be much gutter buildup. 2 story house so ladder etc needed.
