I live in Sydney and am looking to buy a house in Preston in Melbourne. I want someone attend a (for sale) inspection/open home for me tomorrow (Saturday 22/11) at 1pm. It's walking distance from Preston Station. Exact address provided to winning tasker. You'll need to spend 10-15 minutes at the house. I'll send you a short list of things I'd like for you to keep an eye out for (they are all the usual things you'd expect - stuff that costs lots of money to fix). You can answer the questions by email/text or verbally in a 2 minute call after you have left. I would like you to take some real photos (so I get a better idea of what it is really like) and otherwise tell me the stuff what you can't tell from the (staged) real estate photos and google satellite and street views. You can text/email/whatsapp the photos to me. I've flown down a few times for inspections only to discover that the house is falling down or there is something very wrong with the house (e.g. the house next door is a crack den, the floors are very obviously not level, all the window frames are all cracked and there's evidence of leaks everywhere). If it all looks ok(ish) then I'll fly down for the next open house to see it for myself (and then maybe get a building report) before proceeding further. You have to be available to inspect in at 1pm in Preston Saturday 22 November 2025.

We need help with our house and garden ASAP!! We have a big house on 2 acres with a pool and tennis court, multiple gum trees and 2 chickens and in summer particularly it is a bit of a nightmare! We have loved living here but now that we want to spend a bit more time travelling, it has become a burden. Ultimately we might sell but for the moment we want to explore getting help. So, we are looking for a keen, hard working, practical someone who would be happy to do a variety of jobs including some tidying up, fixing stuff or organising someone else to do that, helping with the pool, gardening etc. Basically anything that needs doing but more when we are away! You would need to be flexible, trustworthy and practical, happy to have variable and flexible working hours (we can also be flexible) depending on our needs, the time of year, your commitments etc. This would suit someone like a local uni student, part time contractor or a retired person. Payment would be negotiated but on a casual hourly rate.
