The threaded connector the float switch flex hose connects to has rusted and fallen off. Hi, Stupid comments will be reported. We recently had a water pipe leak in our lawn, which was fixed on 22 January by a plumber through Airtasker. We advertised the job "plumber for leak". Someone named mathew put in an offer saying he is a qualified plumber. So we assigned the job to him. He came and fix it. Unfortunately, we later found out that the plumber is not licensed and we have been scammed, so we are now required to obtain an invoice from a licensed plumber. We have raised a complaint with fair trading and airtasker regarding this. The work has already been completed. The job involved: -Fixing a leaking water pipe in the lawn -Replacing a section of the pipe We are looking for a licensed plumber who can: Review the completed work (you’re welcome to come and inspect it if you wish), and Provide a proper invoice that includes: Date of work: 22 January Description of the repair (water pipe leak in lawn, pipe section replaced) We are happy to provide the pictures and videos of before the leak and after the leak Business name ABN Plumbing licence number Phone number No repair work is required. The price is for issuing the invoice only, and optionally for inspecting the work before issuing it. You can also refer to my profile to see the original job post related to the leak. We are foreigner so we did not know we need to check the license of people before. We assumed that someone who says he is a qualified plumber must have a license. Thank you.
