I have a Dux Proflo electric hot water system and it has stopped heating water. The tank is completely cold and there is no sound coming from it. The water pressure is perfectly fine, so there are no plumbing/flow issues. I have already done some basic troubleshooting safely: Checked the main switchboard. The dedicated hot water circuit breaker was NOT tripped. I cycled it off and on anyway, and it did not trip (no short circuit). Turned off the power, opened the bottom panel, and checked the Robertshaw thermostat. The red over-temperature reset button has NOT popped out. I tried pushing it just in case, but it is firmly set and hasn't tripped. Based on this, it is likely an open circuit—most probably a blown 2.4 kW heating element or a faulty thermostat. I need a licensed electrician or plumber to come with a multimeter to confirm the fault, and ideally have a spare 2.4 kW element and/or Robertshaw thermostat on hand to replace the faulty part on the spot. Hot water is not working in the unit in the Melbourne CBD apartment. It’s winter, we can not take a shower. This needs to be investigated and fixed as soon as possible. Anyone who can repair it is fine? I may need to arrange a licensed plumber so that the receipts are valid for reimbursement through the real estate.

Hot water tap on kitchen sink is leaking, I think the whole inside needs to be replaced (cartridge, O ring, washer) & cold water tap handle in the laundry needs to be installed properly. It sits wonky. The taps needs to be the same, so I happy to purchase them beforehand if needed unless you can supply similar looking ones.

Dishwasher installer informed us the dishwasher is connected to the hot water valve and it needs to be connected to the cold water. We need a plumber to switch the two so it connects to the cold water or if switching it not allowed to put in the correct ones. Hi, I need a licensed plumber/gasfitter to replace an instantaneous gas hot water system that was stolen from the exterior wall of my property in Rockbank. Looks like the thieves cut the copper lines, causing a leak. The gas network distributor has already attended, shut off the gas at the main meter, and capped the damaged line with emergency isolation tape for safety. Scope of work includes: Supply and install a new external continuous flow gas hot water unit (standard 3-4 bedroom home). Repair/reconnect the damaged copper gas and water pipework left on the brick wall. Conduct a full gas safety/leak test. The property is currently tenanted, so coordination for access will be arranged via my real estate agent.
