My Emerald heat pump hot water unit has been steadily leaking water from the bottom plumbing area for several days. Details of the issue: • The leak is coming from the lower pipework/fittings near the cold water inlet and the brass valve assembly (around the area labelled “WATER INLET/DRAINAGE”). • It’s a continuous drip (not a flood), wasting water. • I have attached a clear video showing the leak from multiple angles, including close-ups of the leaking area. What I’ve already done: • Turned off the blue-handled cold water inlet valve (the main supply to the tank). • Turned off the power to the unit at the isolator/breaker. • The leak has now stopped.

The hot water pressure is very low and it looks like the valve is not working. So, we think it is damaged and we need to change it. The valve is next to the washing machine. We live in an apartment. The property manager said he can help to close the water system to do this job.

Unit is under a cupboard and needs to be taken out to access it. Have no idea how to take the cupboard out.

Inspect and repair a shower hot water handle that has come loose and is difficult to turn on. Currently requires pushing the handle in firmly for water to run. We are getting either hot water or cold water in our shower taps. For eg. When turning the cold tap, instead of progressively getting increasing water pressure, nothing happens and then at some stage, you get a strong stream of cold water. There is likely a problem with the pressure valve. This needs to be fixed in two showers.
