Looking for an experienced handyman/chippy to install a heavy-duty curtain rail across a set of sliding doors. We have already purchased the curtain rail and the curtains. The curtains are rubber-backed and quite heavy, so the rail needs to be installed securely with appropriate fixings/support. One side of the wall is brick and the other side is plaster. I’m no chippy 😊 but I think some additional support or reinforcement may be needed on the plaster side to make sure the rail can safely take the weight of the curtains. Looking for someone experienced with this type of installation who can assess the best way to secure it properly and provide any additional fixings/support required. All curtain rail components are already onsite. Please bring the appropriate tools and any additional wall fixings/support materials that may be required.

Require the plasterer for the garage ceiling 4/5 mts high. 5 holes had been cut out for mould. Attached is the photo of the ceiling

Kids pushed a bedroom door too hard, and the plastic stopper bent and the door knob went through the wall. Plasterboard wall with timber framing. I need someone to come and plaster and repair this hole. I will organise painting of the wall another day - so just plaster repairs please.

I have a knocking water pipe somewhere behind a gyprock wall in my living room. The noise occurs when a toilet is flushed, a tap is used, or the washing machine is running. I would like someone to: * Investigate the source of the noise * Cut a small access hole if required * Secure the pipe if possible * Patch the wall afterwards I understand the exact cause may not be known until the wall is inspected. Please let me know your experience with this type of work and when you are available.
