I have an old fireplace which had a gas space heater that I recently got removed. I have capped the gas and electricity connection (with help from an hvac tradie) as I no longer intend to use it as a fireplace. The plaster cornice above my cupboards simply fell off! Been in the house over 15 years now. The cornice is 2.4m long. It needs to be put back in place. The long piece has cracked in half - the two halves are still hanging on - but the split needs to be repaired. Yes, photos are attached!
