The plaster cornice above my cupboards simply fell off! Been in the house over 15 years now. The cornice is 2.4m long. It needs to be put back in place. The long piece has cracked in half - the two halves are still hanging on - but the split needs to be repaired. Yes, photos are attached! This task is part of store closing & vacating in a shopping centre. In the pictures, you will notice glass jars hanging using a jute string and a hook fixture inserted into the ceiling. There are around 100 of these. The job requires the following: 1) Removing all the hanging glass jars; 2) Removing all the hooks inserted into the ceiling; 3) Applying putty (or plaster) on the ceiling to make it look neat and tidy. Obviously, it won't blend completely into the existing white paint but we would like it to be as neat and tidy and close to the white paint as possible, since our deposit is depending upon it. If you need to use plastering, that is fine but not necessary. Although the ceiling is of normal height, you will most definitely require a tall step ladder to reach the ceiling. Hope the above makes sense.
