Job details * Approx. 35 m² of ceiling area. * Late-1980s townhouse. * Single-pitch concrete tiled roof. * Good roof cavity access, with approximately 1.5 m clearance at the highest point, sloping down from there. * No existing insulation to remove — the cavity just needs vacuuming to remove accumulated dust and debris, including any droppings present. Scope of work * Vacuum-clean the ceiling cavity and safely remove dust, debris and any droppings. * Supply and install new ceiling insulation batts. * Please quote for R5.0 glasswool batts, or propose a suitable alternative with comparable thermal performance and documented fire-safety specifications. * Ensure batts are fitted correctly, without gaps or compression, and that electrical equipment, lighting and required clearances are handled safely. * Remove all waste and leave the area clean.
