The job: The whole window frame timber and affected sub-sill directly underneath and around the aluminium window frame has rotted and needs to be removed and replaced structurally and repainted to match current paint. Need to remove and remount our outdoor awning. Install a solid continuous timber mounting board across the existing timber frame, cut to fit, secured straight and level, sealed and painted to match the house. Then remount the awning securely.
