The goal is to create a new double door opening with two 720mm doors. The scope of work includes: • Protecting the area (floors, etc.) • Removing the existing single door leaf and its frame. • Cutting the plasterboard wall to widen the opening. • Supplying and installing a new, wider lintel/header to properly support the new opening (approx. 1440mm+). • Supplying and installing a new double door frame/jamb. • Supplying and hanging two new matching 720mm door leaves (open to discussing re-using the existing leaf if a match can be found, but quote for two new ones). • Supplying and installing all hardware (hinges, handles, and a meeting stile/latch system). • Patching, plastering, and sanding the new wall section and frame to be "paint-ready." • Cleaning up the site and removing all demolition rubbish.
