Find an experienced handyman in Ferny Creek

I have very heavy sliding doors where the Lockwood handle and locking mechanism has broken and needs replacement. The doors are extremely heavy and are not sliding easily making them extremely difficult to open and close. My 82 year old mum suffering from dementia needs to be able to open these doors to let her dog in and out of the house. I'm hoping someone can replace the handle locking system and at the same time make any adjustments necessary to allow the doors to open and close with ease. Please refer to photos. The plumber cut a section of plaster from the garage ceiling to confirm that the shower above was not leaking. In the process, the plumber has cut through a beam supporting the garage door and this needs bracing/ supporting before the plasterer can repaired.

However, the new window frame is approximately 100mm narrower than the socket. therefore it needs to be built up approximately 50mm on each side. Have window frame and timber.
