I am looking for a qualified carpenter / tradesman to install an attic ladder into my Victorian style house in Yarraville, ideally with experience installing these ladders previously. My ceiling is approx 3.3m high, and there is already a small access hole installed. I have purchased a wooden attic ladder (3.5m high), and I am looking for someone to install it into the roof, and apply some trim around the corners to make it look nice in the ceiling. Im also interested in having some insulation and wooden flooring installed to convert it into a storage space, so I would also like someone who can identify if any structural changes were required to the roof to support this.
