We are planning to take out our carpet and replace it with engineered wood flooring in our living room (eventually whole house so would get you back to do the rest in time) There is concrete under the carpet. The flooring we are looking at is a click system that is float or direct stick although we haven't purchased it yet. Minimum area we will be doing to start is living room 4.9 x 5.4m (see floor plan attached). If budget allows we will also start on the carpet bedrooms starting with bed 4. Still looking for a hardwood floor installer. I am replacing the carpets in four bedrooms with hardwood flooring (not engineered). The wood is spotted gum 130mm x 19mm. The total floor area of the four bedrooms (including wardrobes) is approximately 60-65sqm. I already have the flooring and the glue. I do not have the nails but I can get or I can pay for whatever you buy. The hardwood is tongue and groove.
