By the time you arrive, the deck will have been chemically scrubbed, pressure washed, completely cleared of furniture, and bone-dry. All you need to do is apply the stain! The Deck: Size: Approx 70 sqm. Condition: Clean, dry, and ready to coat. Layout: Flat deck & some stairs The Scope of Work: Coat 1: Apply the first coat of decking stain/oil evenly. Coat 2: Apply the second coat for a protective, even finish once the first coat is dry. Care: Cut in neatly around the edges and ensure no stain splatters onto the exterior house walls or surrounding concrete. Who Supplies What: I will supply: The premium deck oil/stain (approx 15L). We’ll remove the smaller items ourselves. Would need the hybrid installed neatly, including transitions to the carpeted rooms and the tiled wet areas. House is easy access and single level. I want to get a deck built over the existing pavers in the walkway from my front gate to my front door using composite decking boards to match those of my back deck. The space measures 10m long x 1.45wide. Weed matting is required below the deck. An image of the decking at the back is provided. Note that decking is only required to the entryway and not to the area with the black paving to the side. Decking to be tried against the existing timber planter boxes along the one wall. I also need an existing glazed hardwood door, which closes off the entryway from my garage, trimmed as needed to allow for the deck and also to fit between the jambs. It is currently very slightly too wide and will need the lower edge trimmed to allow it to open outwards over the new deck. The door is solid timber.
