I have x 3 spots that need varnish and one piece of timber replaced

Need laminate timber floor boards repaired/replaced across 3 rooms. Damaged boards have scratches and need to be removed and replaced with matching spare boards we already have. Areas: • Bedroom 1 – 3 damaged boards • Bedroom 2 – 5 damaged boards • Living room – 2 damaged boards Flooring is laminate timber flooring and appears to be glued down (I think) We already have plenty of spare boards ready to go. Looking for someone experienced with laminate/timber floor repairs and board replacement. Need someone with necessary tools/materials to remove and replace glued boards properly.

We need an experienced timber finisher / carpenter / flooring professional to sand, stain and clear-seal approximately 6 metres of raw 12 x 12 mm clear-pine tri-quad scotia. This is finishing only — the scotia does not need to be cut, mitred or installed. The goal is to get the visible curved face of the scotia as close as reasonably possible to our existing light warm-oak engineered timber floor. We tried one test section using Feast Watson Prooftint at full strength and it came out far too dark, so we need someone experienced with staining pine to properly test and control the colour before proceeding with the full lengths. We currently have: * raw Porta 12 x 12 mm clear-pine tri-quad scotia — approx. 6 m total * Feast Watson Prooftint timber stain * Feast Watson Matt Clear Varnish * 220-grit sanding sponge * timber finishing brush We believe these are the main required materials, but please advise if a timber primer/conditioner, colour reducer, different stain shade, or other preparation product is needed to achieve an even light-oak result on pine. Please include any additional material cost in your offer or discuss it with us before purchasing. Scope required: * inspect/test on an offcut first and confirm the proposed shade before completing all lengths * lightly sand and prepare the pine * apply stain carefully so it is light, even and not blotchy * apply appropriate clear matt protective coats, with light sanding/de-nibbing between coats where needed * ensure the finished pieces are dry enough to be handled and installed later Please only make an offer if you have experience with staining clear pine, timber trim, skirting/scotia or timber colour matching. I have a small chip on the edge of a whitewashed/painted timber stair nosing (see photo attached). It’s a minor cosmetic edge chip, not structural — roughly the size of a fingernail. Looking for someone experienced with timber floor/stair chip repairs to fill and colour-match it so it blends in with the surrounding white-washed finish. No need to replace the board — just a clean cosmetic repair. Sand and seal the timber floor in a 16sqm room.

We several dark water stains on our timber floorboards which need to be repaired as part of an end of lease clean. The stains were caused by water collecting below pot plants and a long mirror. In the first instance, we are hopeful, some stains can be repaired without requiring sanding and refinishing. Looking for a professional floor expert to help us with this job.

Need someone to finish this timber flooring in the areas in the photos(including under fridge). Some panels may need to be removed (eg. Where cut on an angle) to allow for a clean finish. I have the flooring panels onsite. The floor that is concrete in photos needs to be levelled with the tiled areas. I have some 9mm boards made from MDF to cater for this. They need to be cut down and fitted before the timber flooring is placed down.

I have a pine timber deck about 3m x 3.2m which needs sanding back so that I can stain it. I tried to Gerni off mould and now it’s patchy ☹️

I’m converting a small storage room into a study nook and need floorboards installed to cover an exposed concrete subfloor where built-in cabinets were recently removed. The job involves three tasks: 1. Lay Floorboards ∙ Install supplied (matching) floating floorboards to match the existing light timber flooring in the adjoining area ∙ Boards need to butt up neatly to the existing flooring at the threshold ∙ The subfloor is bare concrete with some old adhesive residue from removed cabinetry – light prep/levelling will be needed before laying ∙ Please bring underlay – I don’t have any on hand 2. Install Skirting Boards ∙ Install supplied skirting boards around the perimeter of the are as shown in the photos to finish the floor edges clean 3. Patch Holes in the Wall ∙ There are a few holes and damage spots in the walls left over from the cabinet removal ∙ Please patch and prep the walls ready for painting – I will do the painting myself, so just needs to be sanded smooth and ready to go. I will supply the filler for the wall patching. This is a relatively small task for someone that knows what they are doing.

I need a skilled handyman or flooring installer to replace one rotted engineered timber floorboard near a main door (see photos).
